Wow. So yesterday was a disappointing game. Now I usually can’t stand it when spectators leave a game early, but last night even I couldn’t bear the sad faces and morose atmosphere downtown at the CBC Studios. By the end of the 2nd period, most of the fans around myself and my friends had cleared out, only paper plates and trash reminding that the city had been on the verge of a massive party. After two periods, Vancouver was still trailing and my hair was in knots from fidgeting with it in stress; my friend took one look at my sad state and decided it was time for us to go home.
Now tomorrow is game 7. I was hoping it wouldn’t have to come to this, but I guess we were just waiting to take it on home ice. Game 7’s stress me out a lot, but I have to admit, the excitement in the air on game 7 nights is simply electric. Downtown Vancouver will be a gongshow! But regardless of how it all goes down tomorrow night, remember to have some fun. Our boys made it this far, and geez our city had a lot of fun during it all!
Cross your fingers and toes! And remember to party it up tomorrow no matter what! Our city is too awesome to feel down! GO CANUCKS GO!!!!!
