For the first time ever, the Butter Chicken gang FINALLY crossed the Alex Fraser bridge and made its way into Surrey, where audiences were able to savour the spicy comedy without having to venture past the city limits.
Since 2008, the Butter Chicken gang has satisfied the palates of thousands of theatre-goers in shows like I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter Chicken!—The Best Of Show, The Butter Chicken Reloaded, The Butter Chicken’s Back… Alright, and The Fellowship of the Butter Chicken.
The venue for this "Best Of” Show was the Newton Cultural Centre. On the menu: the best-of-the-best bits from the last three Butter Chicken shows. No topic is out of bounds for these comedy crusaders as they act, sing, dance, and Bollywood their brains out in rapidfire skits penned by the Bollywood Shenanigans crew. The show featured regular cast members Munish Sharma, Leena Manro, Jason Vaisvila, Sabrina Saran and Stuart Gray along with newcomer Carmel Amit.
All five shows from November 15 to 17 played to SOLD OUT audiences. Due to public demand, two more shows were added at the last minute on November 23rd & 24th, which were also SOLD OUT.
